Welcome to the hideaway farm, a place steeped in authentic history. Established in 1837, the farm was originally home to the Weems family and later served as a Nashville retreat for the legendary Johnny Cash. Johnny owned this 107-acre property for 33 years, calling it "the center of my universe." When you visit, you’ll walk in Johnny’s footsteps, explore a place he deeply cherished, and experience history firsthand. Discover rare photos and personal items once owned by Johnny, June Carter Cash, and their dear friends Carl Perkins and Elvis Presley. And finally, you'll be able to see the car Johnny made famous, "The One Piece At A Time" Cadillac. Tours typically last under two hours, though feel free to linger and enjoy the peaceful surroundings.
This upcoming winter, the Hideaway Farm will be taking a seasonal break from general admission tours for the remainder of the year.
Personal tours are still available! Please call to book yours today.
